Piezo Acoustic

Is this a good guitar to get?
Ok so I want to start taking Guitar and I was wondering if you thought this was a good guitar (all you guitar experts and stuff) I know it seems kind of stupid to be buying a pink or purple guitar but I wanted something that I would love and that I could call my own. I am 5 foot 3 inches, do you think this would be a good size guitar for me and would it be big enough for me to grow into (I will be approximately 5 foot 9 inches). What do you think? Thanks!

Or if not that one then I like this one: http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Yamaha-APX500-Thinline-Acoustic-Electric-Cutaway-Guitar-with-Piezo?sku=512948
Thank you!
If you’re just now learning guitar and have small hands that are going to get bigger, you might want to consider buying a 3/4 size guitar. For starters, it’s much easier to learn on a smaller guitar (especially if you have smaller hands) and they’re much cheaper than the model in which you’re currently interested.
If you like the purple guitar for the way it looks, that’s fine; but if you get really serious about guitars later on down the line, you’ll eventually be looking for a guitar based less on color and more on action, tone, durability, etc.
If your parents are buying the guitar for you, they’ll be really happy if you choose a 3/4 size guitar. If they spend 300 bucks on a guitar that winds up collecting dust in the closet in a few months, they’re not going to be too supportive the next time you decide you want to take up piano or cello. However, if they pay 75 bucks for a three-quarter size guitar and you stick with it, they’ll be inclined to spend more money when your hands get bigger and it’s time to move on to a full-size guitar.
